Ann McCoy is an artist who has long been interested in the philosophical, the mystical, the alchemical and the primordial. She is known for her color pencil drawings full of metaphors. She often explores ancient ocean floors at the beginning of life on Earth, Other-worldly Heavens and Hells, and dreamscapes full of power-laden totems and tankas. Her prints maintain the soft touch and palette of these drawings, equally full of mark-making and fantasy.
